Richard gained significant experience in personal injury claims as a paralegal whilst studying part-time at university for 5 years before commencing his legal traineeship with Harper Macleod LLP in 2019.
He specialises in pursuing and defending litigated claims in the Sheriff Court and All-Scotland Personal Injury Court. He acts in cases for individuals and insurer clients arising from road accidents including personal injury, property damage and credit hire claims. Richard also has experience in dealing with workplace accident claims, occupier’s liability claims and public liability claims.
Richard regularly conducts hearings and Proofs in Sheriff Courts throughout Scotland. He also proudly represents families in education appeals on behalf of the National Autism Society.
Additionally, Richard has been admitted as a Notary Public.
