Virtual National Housing Conference 2024

Monday 16th – Thursday 19th September | 12.00pm to 1.00pm

The 21st National Housing Conference will play an important role in addressing the challenges and opportunities facing the social housing sector in the uncertain times ahead. Our speakers will discuss complex issues affecting the sector such as, funding, achieving net zero, employment, human rights, immigration and governance.

The virtual events will take place over four days from 16th to 19th September, with sessions focusing on a different topic each day.

 

Seen, Heard and Respected? Being a child in the Scottish justice system

Our forthcoming “Seen, Heard and Respected?” conference, jointly hosted with Scotland’s national children’s charity, Children 1st, aims to highlight the multifaceted experiences of children within the Scottish justice system. By examining the challenges and opportunities of the process, we hope to promote better alignment of the policies and legislation in relation to children’s rights to justice and their implementation in practice.

We will hear from a number of experts including policymakers, practitioners and advocates.
