OUR TEAM
Linda has practiced exclusively in family law since 2014 and prior to that undertook a wide variety of litigation since her qualification in 2006. She is accredited as a specialist in family law by the Law Society of Scotland and is a trained collaborative solicitor. Linda is a member of the Family Law Association.
Linda has experience of all aspects of family law and can advise clients on different options for resolving a family law dispute. She advises on divorce and financial provision, cohabitation, child residence and contact, child abduction, relocation as well as measures for those in the early stages of their relationships such as pre-nuptial agreements or cohabitation agreements. Linda appears regularly in the Sheriff Court and regularly instructs Counsel in the Court of Session. The majority of Linda’s cases are resolved out of court in a more amicable way.
Linda volunteers as a solicitor for the Scottish Child Law Centre and often contributes articles to various publications such as Greens Family Law Bulletin, Scots Law Times and the Scottish Legal News.
Linda’s strength is in building a positive relationship with her clients based on mutual trust and understanding, allowing her to work with them to achieve their aims for the future.
