OUR TEAM
Caitlin is part of our Dispute Resolution team dealing with a broad range of civil and commercial disputes. She trained exclusively in the civil and commercial litigation field and has varied court experience. Caitlin regularly represents clients in Sheriff Courts and Tribunals throughout Scotland and regularly instructs Counsel in the Court of Session. She also works closely with one of our in-house Solicitor Advocates.
She provides advice in relation to commercial and consumer contract claims and shareholder and corporate disputes. Her experience extends to property related disputes, executry disputes, and professional negligence claims.
Caitlin is regularly instructed at short notice to obtain interim orders and interim diligence in order to protect a client’s position. She has extensive debt recovery and insolvency experience and is able to advise clients on the most effective strategy that can be adopted when a court order has been granted.
She also regularly advises clients in relation to alternative methods of dispute resolution, and has been involved in a number of successful mediations.
