Sara is a member of the Dispute Resolution team based in Elgin. She primarily deals with work in the Moray and Aberdeenshire areas. With a particular focus on property, contractual, and debt recovery disputes, she deals with a variety of both civil and commercial matters. She provides tailored advice after considering clients’ specific needs and circumstances. She assists clients with implementing practical and cost-effective strategies for resolving disputes.
Sara’s experience includes a broad range of property-related disputes, including commercial and residential landlord/tenant, access, and title condition disputes. She also often advises on disputes concerning contract interpretation. She has experience with obtaining interim orders, as well as advising and protecting clients against the same.
Sara is familiar with all aspects of civil procedure, from Simple Procedure through to Court of Session procedure, and has appeared in Sheriff Courts throughout Scotland. She regularly deals with Ordinary Cause actions, represents clients in the First-tier Tribunal (Housing and Property Chamber), and has experience in Commercial Actions.
Sara has experience with alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration. She is a Notary Public.
