Steven deals with a wide range of commercial real estate work in Scotland, England and Wales, including leasing, acquisitions, asset management and disposal, secured lending and the property aspects of corporate and banking transactions and has several years’ experience of working on cross-border deals.
Steven has a particular focus on the real estate aspect of renewable energy transactions and has several years’ experience of working on both large and small scale cross-border hydroelectric, gas, solar, battery storage and onshore wind deals across the UK taking projects from the initial heads of terms stage through to the full operational stage. This has involved option agreements, leases, overage and development agreements, servitudes/easements as well as any additional real estate documentation required. He also regularly acts for clients on due diligence and reporting exercises for banking and corporate clients across the UK and further afield.
Having acted for landowners, developers, investors and funders over the years and having advised clients at the various stages of the development process, Steven is well placed to provide a balanced and commercial view on each transaction that he is involved in which clients appreciate.
