Priya specialises in debt recovery litigation for a variety of public and private sector clients. She is involved in all aspects of pursuing and defending actions in the form of simple procedure claims, ordinary cause actions and summary applications. Priya appears in Sheriff Courts across Scotland on a weekly basis for procedural hearings and proofs. She also instructs a wide range of enforcement steps that can be undertaken after a successful court action.
She has expertise in the case management of defended actions, which requires particular knowledge of the civil procedure and practice of court actions in Scotland.
Priya also has a background in Criminal, Family, Children’s and Immigration Law. She has both Pursuer and Defender experience in the Sheriff Court, High court, Tribunal and Court of Session.
