Bobby is a Senior Associate in the firm’s Dispute Resolution team. He undertakes a broad range of civil litigation work. This includes, amongst other things: both commercial and ordinary actions in the Court of Session; construction disputes; professional negligence claims; employers’ liability litigation and a variety of public sector disputes. Bobby has also successfully appeared for clients in the Sheriff Courts and the All-Scotland Sheriff Personal Injury Court.
Prior to joining the firm, Bobby had a decade of experience acting for every major insurer in the UK market. Primarily, he specialised in defending personal injury claims, including seven-figure litigations concerning fatal accidents and life-altering injuries. Bobby dealt with accidents at work, accidents in public places, road traffic accidents, industrial disease claims, property damage claims, credit hire claims and subrogated recoveries. He has advised a diverse range of clients and policyholders, ranging from private individuals to multinational companies. During this time, Bobby consistently acted for a number of local authority clients, giving him strong public sector experience.
