Robert advises and assists clients on a wide range of matters relating to rural land, including crofting, agricultural leases, farm purchases and sales, voluntary registrations, estate purchases and sales and community buy-outs, as well as working on renewable energy projects and carrying out security work on behalf of clients and lenders.
Having grown up in the era of community purchases, Robert has a particular interest in community ownership of rural land, but he has a keen interest in rural and property matters generally.
Robert joined the firm having previously specialised in rural conveyancing. This experience helps him deliver pragmatic, tailored advice aimed at solving the often complex issues involved with the purchase, sale and leasing of rural land in Scotland.
