Samantha 'Sammi' Kinghorn is Scotland's leading wheelchair racer and Harper Macleod's Athlete Ambassador.
A European record holder in the T53 category over 100m, 200m, 400m and 800m, Sammi is preparing to compete at her first ever Paralympics in Rio.
Her first race will be the 100m on 8 September, a distance over which she has a personal best of 16.62seconds.
While she's on the track her only thoughts are of going as fast as she can towards the finishing line, but what else could through Sammi's head in the time she takes to race 100m?
Before she headed to Brazil we caught up with with Sammi to get 16.62 seconds worth of thought on a whole range of subjects – from Rio to Rivals, and much more in between.
Check out the videos on the Harper Macleod YouTube Channel for a sprint through the mind of Sammi Kinghorn as she prepares to make her dreams come true.
