We are looking for solicitors to join our Energy & Natural Resources team in Glasgow.

The team is headed by David Bone, one of Scotland’s leading Renewable Energy lawyers. We have an enviable list of clients – developers, investors, landowners, funders, communities and planning authorities – principally working in Scotland’s renewable energy industry.

The role would suit solicitors working in an energy role and looking to move to one of Scotland’s leading firms or solicitors with a commercial property background and wishing to transfer into a dynamic and growing industry.

The roles will include drafting and negotiating documents such as exclusivity agreements, options and leases for developers and landowners, carrying out due diligence on existing projects for investors and funders, assisting clients involved in the renewables supply-chain and generally supporting clients with their legal requirements in this fast-moving industry. Projects are predominately in the wind, hydro, solar, minerals and marine sectors but battery storage, CCS, and hydrogen projects are increasingly attracting more attention.

Training will be provided as required and our lawyers are all encouraged to play a part in the sector by attending industry events and contributing articles to our client bulletins.
