Stephanie Nichol

Stephanie is a Senior Associate within the firm's Public Sector and Housing team and handles all aspects of property and conveyancing work for a very wide range of public and third sector clients and for commercial developers and property investors.

Stephanie has a solid track record in real estate and is a member of the Investment Property Forum. Stephanie's practice areas cover extensive experience in dealing with:- investment purchases and sales; property finance; acting for Landlords and Tenants in commercial leases; asset and lease management issues; advising on dilapidations claims; advice on registration of title and voluntary registration projects; advising on the Scottish property side of cross border deals and on the property aspects of corporate acquisitions and disposals; transactional real estate and real estate finance expertise; advising funders on renewables projects; development work, site assembly, acquisitions and disposals for development; setting up deeds of conditions and servitudes; advice on grant funding, the taking of security and creation of conservation burdens; acting on joint development projects for RSL clients with third parties; review of complex titles and variation/discharge of land obligations.

Stephanie has considerable experience across all sectors and has advised leading PLCs, public sector organisations, retail banks, investment funds, SMEs and family businesses and individuals.

Stephanie has strong credentials of acting for a lot of public sector and third sector clients on significant deals and provides them with pro-active pragmatic advice.This has included providing legal consultancy advice to the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) on its property portfolio and hydrology monitoring network and the implications of voluntary registration as well as providing wider advice to SEPA on contract and commercial matters and projects. Stephanie regularly advises local authorities and other public bodies and understands the legal, regulatory and political context in which they operate.
