Rachel is a Solicitor in our Corporate, Commercial & Regulatory team specialising in advising start-ups and high-growth businesses covering a range of corporate work from incorporation to exit including investments, due diligence, shareholders agreements, acquisitions and restructures. Rachel also advises on areas including share option agreements and commercial matters.
Prior to joining Harper Macleod, her work experience ranged from working with company secretarial clients in relation to incorporation, companies house filings, and reconstitution of company books, to managing deal logistics in both investments and sales as well as providing support for US subsidiaries and expansion for UK companies.
Rachel is acutely aware of the workload placed on companies when growing and feels strongly about ensuring clients are made to feel at ease during what can be a strenuous process. She is mindful of potential pitfalls, and how to correct or manage them. She makes a conscious effort to read, learn and understand the mechanics of how the particular business operates, and what is required to reach their proposed goal.
