Pamela has significant experience in advising clients on wind and hydro energy developments and in the mineral extraction industry. She deals with the negotiation and settlement of contracts in relation to property and planning matters for the firm's renewable energy, mining, and waste management clients.

She has regularly been involved in the negotiation of Section 75 agreements on behalf of local authorities, developers and landowners, including the negotiation of multiparty bonding arrangements in respect of restoration obligations. Her experience of large contract negotiations together with her innovative use of information technology for data handling expertise led Pamela to be involved in housing projects for Dumfries and Galloway, City of Glasgow and Scottish Borders Councils and Comhairle nan Eilean Siar.

Recent deals include the grants of leases for the A’Chruach, Burn of Whilk and Stroupster Wind Farms, the purchase of the Muirpark prospective wind farm site and the grants of leases for the Carie and Cashel hydro schemes, the property and bank security work for Wick Harbour Authority and the negotiation of access rights for a prospective barite mine near Aberfeldy and the acquisition of the land for the Clyde wind farm on behalf of SSE Renewables (having been involved with the project from its inception in 2003).
