Lewis Kemp
Senior Associate

Lewis is a member of the dispute resolution team advising clients on a range of commercial and civil matters in the Sheriff Court and Court of Session including the Commercial Courts. He is also experienced representing clients at mediation resulting in successful early settlement of cases.
Lewis regularly acts for residential and commercial landlords in a full spectrum of contentious property matters including debt recovery, eviction and contractual disputes. He is experienced pursuing all forms of diligence including petitioning for sequestration and advice on recovery in foreign jurisdictions.
He advises on other contractual disputes such as those involving loan agreements, IT contracts, services contacts and sale of goods. He has an interest in sports law and has represented clients before their regulatory bodies at disciplinary tribunals.
As well as a varied case load, Lewis has provided strategic advice on litigation policy in Scotland to insurers and government departments. He has provided in-house training for clients on a variety of litigation topics and has presented seminars on topics including product liability, damages and litigation procedure.
