Kevin provides advice and assistance to many Registered Social Landlords (RSLs), local authorities and other public bodies in Scotland, particularly in relation to property and conveyancing work.
Kevin undertakes work relating to the sale and acquisition of both residential and commercial property, as well as development sites, for many of our clients. Ancillary to such work, Kevin is experienced in drafting and negotiating deeds of servitude, sales of substations, and deeds of real burdens to utility providers. Kevin also assists with the property side of security transactions.
Kevin has extensive experience dealing with properties within the shared ownership and shared equity scheme and deals regularly with the re-sale of such properties and the renewal of Exclusive Occupancy Agreements (EOAs) on behalf of RSLs.
In addition to conveyancing work, Kevin is experienced in advising clients in relation to property management issues, and has particular experience in advising clients in relation to the factoring of tenement and other flatted buildings. Kevin also assists with any title and ownership queries and is skilled in locating the owner to historic sasine titles.
