She understands that different approaches can be required for different businesses and she takes the time to get to know the particular challenges facing each employer that she advises.

Kate understands that experiencing problems at work can be very stressful for individuals and in her role she seeks to ease that stress wherever possible by providing clear and comprehensive advice which avoids legal jargon. She advises individuals on a diverse range of employment law issues including unfair dismissal, grievances, redundancy and she is experienced in negotiating settlements for departing employees.

In addition to advising both employers and employees she regularly represents clients in the Employment Tribunal and has experience of judicial mediation from both the employee and employer perspective.
