Graeme Nisbet

Graeme is Head of our Rural Team and Project Partner for a number of the firm's key clients including Forestry Commission Scotland (FCS), Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH), Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park Authority and Cairngorms National Park Authority.

He and his 15-strong Rural Team are not only specialists in the law but have a deep understanding of the commercial opportunities which arise in Scotland's thriving modern rural communities – acting for more than 40 estate owners, 30 community groups and many agricultural businesses.

As Project Partner for FCS, Graeme represents them in their acquisition and disposals programme, including a number of high-profile land disposals and land management issues, in addition to providing ad-hoc advice to the in-house property and procurement teams.

Graeme represents a number of other public sector and quasi-public sector clients in a variety of property related transactions, ranging from acquisition and disposals to leases and management agreements.

He is also the Client Relationship Partner to a number of the firm's clients who hold large property portfolios, providing advice on property matters, including acquisitions, disposals, development, leasing, estate management and property finance.
