Euan acts both for public sector clients, procuring new accommodation and healthcare projects, and private sector partners, delivering new facilities as sponsors, investors, facilities management contractors and construction contractors. He has been actively involved in advising clients in relation to Scottish Government's Non Profit Distributing Model Projects and the hub initiative. He regularly advises clients in relation to the variety of different issues that arise with established projects from dealing with changes and variations, disputes and issues arising if any party involved needs to be replaced.
Euan leads the Group’s involvement in student accommodation projects. Euan has advised a variety of clients in this ever growing market where a number of different project models have been used. He has advised universities, investors and facilities management contractors in relation to their interests in a variety of student accommodation projects throughout the UK.
Euan has extensive experience advising on significant finance transactions for Lenders and Borrowers in a variety of different sectors. His particular area of interest is in relation to project finance transactions advising banks other senior lenders and borrowers on the financing of major projects throughout the UK. He has also advised many investors and sponsors in relation their investment in such projects. Euan also regularly advises lenders and borrowers in relation to a variety of commercial funding transactions including corporate and property based matters.
Chambers UK Guide to the Legal Profession lists Euan as a "Leader in the Field" in PFI/PPI, where sources identify him as "good - very clear, he knows what we're doing and he's practical. I'd always use him for this type of work."
Euan is qualified as a solicitor in Scotland and in England and Wales.
