Donna advises clients in the renewable energy and construction sectors, with a focus on construction and commercial contracts. She has experience advising on all aspects of energy and infrastructure projects throughout the UK, having acted for clients in both the public and private sector including developers, construction contractors, consultants and facilities management contractors.
Donna advises clients on a broad range of industry standard and bespoke contracts including design and build contracts, FEED contracts, engineering contracts (including NEC3), framework agreements, consultant appointments, collateral warranties, terms and conditions for supply and installation of renewable energy equipment, joint venture and development agreements. She also provides advice in the renewable energy sector on the funding and security of renewable energy equipment including, onshore wind and hydro turbines, Solar PV panels, CHP units, biomass boilers and anaerobic digestion equipment as well as Government initiatives such as the Renewable Heat Incentive, the CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme and the European Union Emissions Trading Scheme.
Donna has also advised on a range of corporate and commercial issues having previously worked in-house for an international energy services company in Aberdeen and Houston and, more recently, for one of the shortlisted project companies in the DECC Carbon and Capture Storage Commercialisation Programme.
