We advised EnteroBiotix, a privately held Scottish biotechnology company focused on using the body’s own microorganisms to prevent and treat disease, in an oversubscribed £500,000 seed round of investment.
The financing was led by Equity Gap and supported by the Scottish Investment Bank, the investment arm of Scottish Enterprise. Our team, led by Partner Paula Skinner, assisted EnteroBiotix in all aspects of getting ‘investor ready’ before guiding it through the funding transaction.
EnteroBiotix is developing orally-delivered encapsulated microbial therapeutics for use in a medical treatment called Faecal Microbiota Transplantation.
James McIlroy, CEO of EnteroBiotix
“Paula and her team supported EnteroBiotix throughout the investment process from term sheet to completion. The team were always on hand to answer queries and resolve issues. I would recommend their services to other startups that are seeking to raise investment.”
