Harper Macleod, recently named Scottish Law Firm of the Year, is delighted to announce that it has added a new Partner to its Personal Injury & Reparation team.
Elaine Russell joins the firm from Irwin Mitchell where she was supervising partner for the Insurance and Personal Injury departments in Scotland.

Harper Macleod’s Personal Injury & Reparation team advises on all types of accident and injury cases throughout Scotland. Elaine brings particular expertise in dealing with areas including: road traffic accidents; serious injury and fatal accidents including representation of the victims of Clutha Vaults helicopter crash; workplace accidents, and asbestos related disease.
Chambers UK Guide to the Legal Profession describes her as an “accomplished solicitor” and someone who can “see problems before they appear”. She is accredited as a Specialist in Personal Injury Law by the Law Society of Scotland, a senior litigator with the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and was the Scottish regional coordinator of the Motor Accident Solicitors Society.
