Harper Macleod has served up a lucrative deal with Guinness Pro12 champions Glasgow Warriors to become an Official Sponsor of the club.
The deal sees Harper Macleod become the title sponsor of the Club Deck for all home matches at the Warriors’ Scotstoun Stadium home.
Scotland star and Warriors’ captain Jonny Gray, fellow international Pat MacArthur, former captain and now Commercial Operations Manager Al Kellock, and Managing Director Nathan Bombrys joined Harper Macleod Chairman Professor Lorne Crerar and Chief Executive Martin Darroch at Scotstoun Stadium to mark the partnership.
The Warriors’ next home match – a crucial European Rugby Champions Cup encounter against World Player of the Year Dan Carter’s Racing 92 on 23 January - has been moved to Kilmarnock and Harper Macleod will sponsor the hospitality at Rugby Park.
Like the Warriors, the law firm has an incredibly strong pedigree in the sporting world and was the very first sponsor of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games. One of the country’s top full-service firms, Harper Macleod is also recognised as the leading sports law firm in Scotland with vast experience advising competitors, organisations and governing bodies across almost every discipline.
Harper Macleod Chairman Professor Lorne Crerar, a leading figure in rugby discipline, Scotland’s only ‘Eminent Practitioner’ in sports law and who acted as a Judicial Officer at last year’s Rugby World Cup Final, said: “Our Sponsorship of the Commonwealth Games was such a massive success for the firm that we have been keen to build on its legacy and this announcement is a big part of that.”

As Official Sponsors of the club, the investment will see the Harper Macleod Club Deck welcome around 200 guests at each match, with the firm also featuring in pitchside advertising at all Guiness Pro12 home matches.
