Donnie Munro Chairmans Award

In addition to being a successful leading legal adviser to family owned businesses for the last 15 years, tonight's recipient has  played a key role in ensuring that lawyers are trained to understand and advise family businesses in future years.  He has been instrumental in setting up the UK's first legal course specifically designed to train lawyers in this specialist sector. The course, forming part of the diploma in Professional Legal Practice at Strathclyde University enables him to pass on and share his experiences and he is responsible for the whole course design and delivery in conjunction with other professionals.

He manages all this and heads up a very successful Business Advisory team at Harper Macleod.

Ladies and gentlemen, I'm delighted to announce that the Chairman's Award for Contribution to the Family Business Sector is presented to

Donald Munro
