    Frances Rooney, head of Harper Macleod's Land Registration team, has co-written the latest of a series of articles on the land registration mattersin Scotland. The article, produced in conjuction with Registers of Scotland, has been published in the Journal of the Law Society of Scotland. This month's article looks at why too many level 3 plans reports are being ordered and provides an update on plans report matters.

    More new residential property style documentation published

    As a member of a Working Party which was set up by the Law Society of Scotland to standardise certain conveyancing docmentation in Scotland I have been involved, with the assistance of the Property Standardisation Group, in creating style documentation for use in residential property transactions such as purchases and sales. A second round of these has been published covering Affadavits, Letters to Factors and Discharges & Deeds of Restriction.
