Activity and trends
The Highland property market has been extremely busy due to a combination of the pent-up demand that was created by lockdown and people looking for a lifestyle change. There is a wide range of properties coming to the market and they tend to be going under offer quickly. Many properties are going to a closing date for offers and achieving over valuation.
Dealing with Covid
Measures have been put in place to minimise all risks to purchasers and sellers during this crisis and viewings are limited to two viewers from one household.
There is a lot of interest in the Highlands from down south. With the trend in working from home people no longer need to be in the city facing long and tiresome commutes to work. They can work from any location and we are fortunate in the Highlands to have Inverness Airport where you can catch an early morning flight to London and the late flight back home if need be.
