Harper Macleod Athlete Ambassador Samantha 'Sammi' Kinghorn got her IPC World Championships campaign in Doha off to a flying start this morning by winning her T53 200m semi-final in style.
Sammi, 19, is already of the world’s leading wheelchair racers and recorded a winning time of 31.91s to win comfortably and qualify second fastest overall. Australian Angie Ballard won the second semi marginally faster, in 31.86s, to set up an intriguing final at 5.40pm today.

Some sessions of the World Championships are being also being shown live on More4 each day, including over the weekend, from 2pm.
