2020 Vision for Housing - Where will we be in 3 years' time?

The NHC returns on Wednesday 13 September 2017 at the Dunblane Hydro.

This year’s conference “2020 Vision for Housing - where will we be in 3 years' time?”, will be chaired by our Chairman Professor Lorne Crerar and will consider some of the recent developments and emerging opportunities in the Scottish housing sector.

We are delighted that Kevin Stewart MSP, Minister for Local Government and Housing and Professor Paddy Gray of Ulster University will be addressing the NHC. Our full programme of speakers will be announced soon.

Delegates will also have the opportunity to attend two breakout groups on the following topics:

  • Group A:  Funding - Private placements, own name bonds & other emerging trends in social housing funding. (Chaired by Derek Hogg, Partner)
  • Group B:  Working smarter - Using technology to better deliver housing services & improve tenants' lives. (Chaired by Tom Thomas, Partner)
  • Group C:  Procurement - Delivering best value in an increasingly complex procurement environment. (Chaired by James McMorrow, Partner)
  • Group D:  Looking ahead to 2020 - How can the sector work together to deliver on Scottish Government affordable housing targets. (Chaired by John Meehan, Partner)

We are offering an early bird discount on the conference fee until 11 August 2017 of £100.00 (+VAT) and from 14 August 2017 the conference fee will be £120.00 (+VAT).
