Musicians' Union Seminar - Music as a brand

This seminar will address important steps recording artists may consider to protect their rights in their performing names, both individual and band names. It will address registration of names, and simple checks musicians can undertake to ensure that they don't accidentally step on the toes of someone else somewhere else (and what to do if someone starts to use their own name). It will look at key cases and disputes surrounding band names, and what happened, and highlight how new bands can avoid the same risks.
