Innovation and the Creative Sector - Safeguarding your Rights
Harper Macleod has joined forces with Heriot-Watt University to present on the important topic of protecting intellectual property rights for creative industries. The seminar will take place on 27th of January 2009 at the University's Scottish Borders Campus.
Safeguarding Intellectual property rights are critical to creative industries. A working knowledge can help protect rights in many items, from clothing designs and product designs to websites and brands, and from graphic designs to architecture, music and software, enabling creators and innovators to maximise value from their work.
Harper Macleod's Jamie Watt, a Solicitor in the Branding, Technology, Media & Innovation practice group, will present on various elements of IP protection for creative industries.
