Harper Macleod Advises On Frame Management Buyout

Leading Scottish commercial law firm Harper Macleod LLP has advised the leadership team of the Frame marketing communications agency on a management buyout.

Following the death of the agency's high profile founder and sole shareholder, Alan Frame in February 2007, the ownership of the agency was unclear. The MBO team, led by Managing Director, George Cumming, has now acquired the majority stakeholding in the company for an undisclosed sum, with the goal of continuing to grow the business.

Founded in 1989, Frame is the second largest agency in Scotland with billings of ?13.2m. It employs 36 people in Glasgow's Merchant City.

Harper Macleod advised the management team in relation to the purchase of the agency.
