3 Reasons Why We're Not Different
We keep winning awards. But that's not our real distinction. Last year certainly wasn't our first as award winners. But it was our best. We're the only firm to have scooped three top accolades in the Scottish Legal Awards. And we were voted Law Firm of the Year in both those awards and the Law Awards of Scotland. Only two firms have ever achieved this double distinction.
Our clients keep coming back. But that's not our real difference. We value our clients. That's why they stay with us. Our retention rate is up there with the very best: of our 30 top clients measured by turnover five years ago, we're still working for all but one of them today. That shows the strength of our Partner-led relationships. And the quality of our results.
We keep growing faster. But that's not why we're unique. In the 20 years since we launched Harper Macleod, we've grown faster than most other law firms in Scotland. Today we have a high quality staff of some 249, led by 42 Partners. And last year, even in times of recession the firm continued to grow - turnover, for instance, increased by 2.5% to £14m.
