Harper Macleod Wins Forestry Commission Legal Work In Scotland
Leading Scottish commercial law firm Harper Macleod LLP, has been appointed by Forestry Commission Scotland to provide legal services in relation to Property Management. Harper Macleod will work on property acquisitions and disposals, leases and partnerships. The contract was awarded following a competitive tender process and is effective March 2008 for a minimum period of 3 years.
Forestry Commission Scotland serves as the forestry department of the Scottish Government, advising on and implementing forestry policy and managing the national forest estate. Its mission is to protect and expand Scotland's forests and woodlands and increase their value to society and the environment.
