Harper Macleod Hosts 6th National Employment Conference
Leading commercial law firm Harper Macleod is to host Scotland's sixth National Employment Conference at Hilton Dunblane Hydro on Tuesday 7 September.
This year's conference will be organised in association with senior level recruitment consultants Odgers Ray & Berndston and the Scottish Council for Development & Industry. The event promises an impressive line up of speakers and industry experts from Marks & Spencer, Scottish Power and the Glasgow Housing Association, who will offer their insights into a wide range of current issues affecting the management of human resources and address the benefits of positive leadership, enhanced management skills and higher levels of employee satisfaction.
Topics covered during the conference will include talent management, leadership development and how to take a proactive approach to both life and career. In addition, to increase the range of topics covered and to ensure that delegates benefit by learning about topics which are of most interest to them, the conference will feature a series of workshops allowing each delegate to attend a group of their choice.
Commenting on the conference, Harper Macleod Managing Partner Professor Lorne Crerar said; "The quality of speakers at this year's event and the wide range of delegates is testament to the fact that this conference has become a key date in the diary of HR Directors and Chief Executives throughout Scotland. The conference is now joined by the National Housing and National Sport Conferences and is further proof of the pioneering approach that has made Harper Macleod one of the leading commercial law firms in the country."
As a key part of the Scottish recruitment market, Ian MacLeod, Partner at Odgers Ray & Berndtson said; "We are delighted to be associated with this event - our business is committed to enabling our clients to appoint the best leaders into their business, across all sectors of the economy."
