Harper Macleod

Harper Macleod, one of Scotland's leading commercial law firms, has launched a new range of services specifically tailored to meet the needs of small businesses.

In response to requests from existing small business clients, the firm's Corporate & Commercial Practice Group has developed the new Small Business Package which offers advice on all aspects required to establish, run, develop and fund small business ventures.  Services include amongst others incorporation services, LLP, partnership and secretarial services, terms and conditions for customers and employees and debt recovery services.

The Group aims to provide a flexible approach to the delivery of legal services allowing clients to select those services which are most relevant to them and subsequently creating individual packages to meet their requirements.  These packages will be offered at discounted fixed fee rates as opposed to hourly rates and an additional 10% discount will be given when clients select a combination of three or more services.

The firm, due to open in Inverness in September, will be promoting and developing this new range of business services as part of it's Highland operation.

Partner, Chris Kerr commented " We appreciate that developing businesses often don't want or can't afford to use lawyers.  By offering this service we are reducing risk exposure and rising costs associated with the delivery of legal services and we are ensuring that our small business clients are not excluded from receiving essential advice."
