Harper Macleod Builds On Housing Expertise With South Lanarkshire Council Success

Commercial law firm Harper Macleod LLP has confirmed its position as one of the Scotlands leading social housing practices after being appointed to South Lanarkshire Councils approved providers list for housing legal services.

Harper Macleod is one of only two firms approved to undertake housing work for the Council under a contract which runs until November 2006.  The firm will provide a range of legal services to South Lanarkshire Council, covering Tenancy issues - including Recoveries and Anti-Social Behaviour - Commercial Contracts, Conveyancing, Judicial Reviews and Risk Management.

Recently named Public Sector Firm of the Year in the Law Awards of Scotland 2004, Harper Macleod is consistently rated in the top tier of leading Scottish social housing firms and has acted in some 30 Large Scale Voluntary Transfers involving over 180,000 houses.
