Harper Macleod Scoops Commercial Property Award at the Scottish Legal Awards 2007

Leading commercial law firm Harper Macleod LLP is celebrating after lifting the Commercial Property Team of the Year Award at the recent Scottish Legal Awards 2007.

Now in its fifth year, The Scottish Legal Awards have become one of the highlights of the Scottish legal calendar, attracting interest from firms throughout the country. Harper Macleod was one of only two firms to receive two awards at the ceremony, after also winning Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Initiative of the Year.

Real Estate Partner, Graeme Nisbet, collected the Commercial Property Team of the Year Award on behalf of the firm, recognising the significant impact that the team has made on the fiercely competitive property legal market in recent years.  Substantial growth, in terms of staff numbers and generated income, has seen Harper Macleod's Real Estate Practice Group become an increasingly established and recognised force in the marketplace.  In the past 12 months alone, the Group has achieved over 38% growth in terms of turnover.

This year's award continues a run of notable successes for Harper Macleod at the Scottish Legal Awards, after last year leaving with three wins, including Law Firm of the Year.
