Harper Macleod law firm organises alternative real estate event for those not travelling to Cannes
Leading law firm Harper Macleod LLP is offering an alternative for those property specialists not travelling to the MIPIM real estate event in Cannes. For the second year running, the law firm which is legal adviser to the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, is running its own version of the event – MIPIM (en Ecosse) on Thursday 8 March in 29 Private Members Club, Royal Exchange Square.
Delegates will hear from Glasgow 2014’s Head of Legacy and Engagement, Paul Zealey, who will present on the plans and developments for the city in the run up to the Games and the legacy post-Games. The event will be attended by leading property, construction and real estate professionals and will offer the perfect opportunity to discuss potential business opportunities arising from the Commonwealth Games.
Morning meeting explains how to franchise your business
Budding franchisors are being welcomed to a free event ‘Introduction to Franchising your Business’ at leading law firm Harper Macleod’s offices at 8am, Thursday 29th March, in 8 Melville Street, Edinburgh. The event is a partnership between The Infinite Group and Harper Macleod.
At the event, Ewan Menzies of The Infinite Group will cover the basics of setting up your own franchise. David Kaye, Head of the Retail and Franchising Sector Group at Harper Macleod will advise on what to expect from the legal aspect. Delegates will also benefit from hearing about a franchising case study.
