Our detractors were plain wrong. Real Estate is now the largest Practice Group in the firm and accounts for more than a third of our turnover. Clearly, too, that top accolade in the 2006 Scottish Legal Awards was a massive tribute.  After 13 years building the team from such small beginnings, it's really rewarding to look back and see this evidence that our many detractors then were just plain wrong.

Clients enjoy dealing with us. That's the major reason for our success. They get who they want, when they want. And they get a commercial answer. We're readily approachable. We're seen as genuine partners - innovative in our approach and positive in our attitude.

We get a buzz from our clients. We encourage our people to get involved with clients at an early stage. That's unusual and clients appreciate it. That's one reason why our client retention is so pronounced. But the main reason, of course, is that we have some seriously talented people here who get a buzz from our clients' business.  We're skilled across a broad range of transactions, legal disciplines and business sectors.
